Chris Brown ft. T-Pain - Kiss Kiss
Can there be too much T-Pain collabo songs? No, not yet. Definitely getting there tho. Maybe like two more songs with him and I will be sick of it. The same goes to Akon, Timbaland, JT, Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne. This video is kind of crappy.

Kanye West VS 50 Cent
*Update: KW reupped. 50 EXPLICIT upped. (Mon, Sept 3)
Well, here they are. Twelve days before the much anticpiated battle between the two, both the albums are leaked. Stupid internet, ruined the anticipation. I couldn't resist, so I downloaded both. I got the explicit retail version for "Graduation" INCLUDING the bonus tracks, "Bittersweet Poetry" featuring John Mayer and the Young Jeezy remix of "Can't Tell Me Nothing". This is not the clean version that has been circulating the internet at an insane pace. However, for "Curtis", only the clean version is out. To be fair, judging 50 Cent on a clean version of his album probably ruined the experience, but it will do for now. I will update it to explicit as soon as I get it.
From what I've heard so far, I think Kanye won...which is pretty much stating the obvious. However, we'll still see what happens on the actual day of Sept 11. Both of them have some good songs on their albums that will make great singles. So, I think we'll be hearing a lot more of some of these songs in the future. In the meanwhile, have fun listening to them. Enjoy!

Kanye West "Graduation" Album Sampler
Two weeks till "Graduation" and this will be my 200th posts! What's a better way to celebrate it than sharing the album sampler I found for "Graduation"!!!!! It includes a snippet of every song on the album. It is sooooo good. Kanye really backs up everything he says. He puts in the hard work to make his art. Enjoy!

Alicia Keys Preview: No One
Haven't heard from her in a long while. The first single from Alicia Keys' upcoming album, "As I Am", due out November is the beautiful slow song "No One". It's very touching and really shows off her outstanding vocal abilities.

Kanye West Leaks
Two new tracks from Kanye's "Graduation" are out. The first is "Homecoming" featuring Chris Martin from Coldplay. The second is only a snippet ripped off the latest episode of Entourage (4x11 - No Cannes Do), where Kanye gives Vinnie and the crew a lift to Cannes. "Homecoming" is pretty good. I liked "Good Life" more though. Looking forward to "Champion" tho.

Common - Drivin' Me Wild (ft. Lily Allen) (mp3)
He he, I like the part where Lily shows up with a space suit when Common drops, "drivin' herself crazy like the astronaut lady". Also, what is going on with the Jeremy Piven cameo? How does it relate? On the other hand, Corey Maggette's cameo made a lot more sense. It was actually pretty amusing. Who is the female character in the video? I have seen her in something before, can't recall right now. Leave a comment if you know.

DAMNIT!!!!! I MISSED IT!!!!!!
OMG, I JUST found out about a contest to "See JOSS STONE in Las Vegas" that ended exactly 3 fricken hrs ago. When I first logged on to the page, I was excited that I may get a chance to go to see her in Vegas. However, when I click on sign up, a giant effing page SMACK ME IN THE FACE saying:
This contest closed on August 26th, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. (ET)
Fucking hell! I'm very upset. I mean, I might not win the contest, but at least I would've had a shot. Now, I won't get a chance. RAWR! I'm going to go to bed angry. Humph!
*Update: (3:39AM) Who am I kidding? There was no way I could go to sleep when I'm this upset. So, I decided to do something about it. Something desperate. I look up the Questions/Comments? section of the contest page and I decided to write to them. Here is the blurb I wrote:
Hi, my name is Alfred and I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Joss Stone. I JUST found out about the contest now, three and a half hour after the deadline. I'm extremely upset that I missed it by such a short time. I was wondering if there is any way that I can get an entry in for the 9:30am draw. I know that there are contests rules about the deadline and I'm writing this in desperate attempt to get a shot to enter the draw. If this is not possible, it's okay. At least, I gave it a shot by writing this. The answer to the contest question is "Introducing Joss Stone". Thanks very much!
At least now, I can say I gave it a shot for the contest. If I don't get in, I can pretend like I entered the contest and didn't win! Now, I can go to sleep and hope for the best. Maybe I'll put on some JS to put me to sleep...
*Update: (5:00PM) So, they emailed me and said that there is nothing they can do. O well, at least I tried. :(

Joss Stone - Big Ol' Game
Here is a behind the scene video of Joss Stone living her life. This is such a lovely video that makes you feel...warm and happy. The song is most likely written by Joss about her family. It is a very sweet song. Even though the weather today was crappy, listening to this song has cheered me up. I have included the youtube rip of the song here at L4T below the video. This is a bonus track on the Japanese editon of the album. Lastly, if you have NOT brought Joss' latest album, "Introducing Joss Stone", GO GET IT NOW. If you are lazy, get it off iTunes. It's worth it. Enjoy the video.

Team USA Blue vs White Scrimmage
To kick start the FIBA Americas game that begins this week, here is the scrimmage game team USA played on July 22. Bosh just pulled out of the tourney because of foot injury. Anyways, this is one of the best scrimmage game. I think this is better than the All-star game because both team actually played seriously and wanted to win. The highlight of this show for me is most likely the plays of Kevin Durant. Man, the guy is already competing at a competent level against these NBA all-stars. You should full screen to watch the game. Here are the teams respectively:
USA Blue
Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, Kirk Hinrich, Deron Williams, Tyson Chandler, J.J. Redick, Kevin Durant
USA White
Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Mike Miller, Jason Kidd, LeBron James, Michael Redd, Chauncey Billups, Shane Battier, Tayshaun Prince

John Legend - Stereo
One of the best song from John Legend's "Once Again" is his next single. This came out a few weeks ago and I totally overlooked it. The video has some cool visual effects, which was kinda the style I was going for on the title banner that I will be working on for this blog....at some point.

Nicole ft. T.I. - Whatever U Like
This song and video is a total Beyonce's "Ring the Alarm" rip off. I have seen a picture of Nicole without makeup and she looks pretty regular, but she still has a very hot body...which I think is the only thing that saved this video. That and T.I.'s rap.

Chocolate Rain A MEGA Hit
Remember "Chocolate Rain" from an older post? It was featured LIVE on Jimmy Kimmel. I can't believe that is his real voice?!?! Now, even John Mayer remixed it to Timbaland produced "Say It Right". Damn, Tay Zonday even did a "Summer Break" version for VH1 after he has been voted on Best Week Ever. Wow, he is turning into a big hit over a song about chocolate rain! What the f is chocolate rain?!?!

50 Cent - Follow My Lead
Another single from "Curtis" already?!? It seems like the new trend of releasing two singles at once is catching on. Rihanna just released both "Don't Stop The Music" and "Hate That I Love You" together. Here is 50's "Follow My Lead" featuring Robin Thicke right after "Ayo Technology" with Justin Timberlake. You know what would work as a really cool collabo, JT + RT. Let's hope for that.

Chocolate Rain
But did they know each other in the light?

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty is probably my favourite FPS game out there and I was crushed when CoD3 was not released on the PC. I tried playing it on Wii, but it's just not the same without the keyboard and mouse. But, at last, Infinity Ward decided that CoD4 will be back on the PC. Yay! They finally moved away from WWII theme and forward to modern warfare. I still think they will do great if they can continue to pay attention to details and provide a great story, because that's really what sets them apart. From the trailer, it seems like they added more moves for the player to use other than just shooting. I'm excited for this. This and Assassin's Creed are probably my most highly anticipated game in the next while for me. You might want to Fullscreen the trailer below.
