I Tried and Lil L.O.V.E.

After five years absence, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's first two singles are making it big. The first Konvicted "I Tried" with (obviously) Akon is a slow beat about how the life of the bandmember would've been if they didn't make it through with their music. The second is "Lil L.O.V.E." with collabo with Mariah Carey and Bow Wow. Both are excellent listen. Here are the videos:

Beeeaaauuuuutiful Girls

New artist Sean Kingston debut single "Beautiful Girls" is an insanely catchy song...(maybe because the chorus is repeated 10x). He sounds like a reggae version of T-Pain/Akon hybrid. This is guaranteed to be a hit song.

The second mix will start off with pop R&B songs and then ending off with some slow jams. This pattern will on on each biweekly mix. Here are the tracks on the first mix:

Help Perez Foundation

Joss is hilarious. In order to take a jab back at celebrity gossip blogger, Perez Hilton, for his bitchy, whinny, degrading comments against her (and all the other celebrities), she made a mock foundation called Help Perez Foundation in order to save his poor soul. The video doesn't start off being too funny, but it picks up after a bit. She is funny, but I would much rather she focuses on her music and avoid these unnecessary controversies.
*Correction: So the actual clip is not that funny, but Joss doing this is funny.

Kanye West - Stronger

The second single from Kanye's "Graduation" is the Daft Funk sampled, "Stronger". The video features the delicious Cassie in a Japan-futuristic theme. I really like Cassie because she is hot. Too bad she is not as big of a hit as she can be. I think she needs to work with a mix of producers other than just Ryan Lesile to get it going. She will be recording her second album soon, hopefully it will be better than the first one.

Awesome Babies

I'm currently in a bad mood and I won't have too much time to post stuff this week. Also, I'm trying to stay awake studying for this boring technical certification test I have on Thursday. Anyways, this cheered me up a bit. So here they are, adorable babies that put a smile on my face.

Dramatic Chipmunk

For some reason, this reminds me of my friend named Alvin.

*Updated: Found this video about how the dramatic chipmunk came to be.

Common ft. Dwele - The People

I'm really liking all the Common songs so far. The music and the lyrics are actually good when compared to all the other manufactured stuff out there. I look foward to the album "Finding Forever" due out July 31st. I think this could potentially be the best rap album of the year.

100th Post!!!

What a quick journey this has been. I've been blazing through blog posts. I can't believe how much useless crap is on this blog. I want to thank everyone who has been coming on this blog to waste some of their time on the internet. This was actually intended just to be a thing I do at work to burn some time, but I've actually spend quite some time writing posts. Surprisingly, there hasn't been too much difficulty in finding materials to post about. My friends and readers have been doing a good job sending me stuff to post about. However, I think the rate at which I post will go down a bit to about 2-3 posts a week from here on...unless I can find some co-author to this blog, which is what I'm trying to do.

Anyways, now that I've reached the 100th post milestone, it's time to list some of the new improvements I will be working on in the future:
- Movies Grade Widget
- Shoutout Box Widget
- Web music player Widget

- New Layout Template
- New Banner
- More Diverse Content
- Weekly Polls/Tournaments on Random Topics
- Biweekly L4T's Mixtape

I'm open to take any more suggestions you have as to what you want to see more of on this blog. Thanks everyone for their support so far.

R,Kelly ft. Usher - Same girl

The acting on this is better than The Prestige. Good song though, even with the cheesy lyrics.

Delfino On Raps TV

In case you've missed it, Raptors traded second-round draft pick in 2009 and 2011 for Pistons' Carlos Delfino. Deflino can play both the 2 and 3, but mostly at the 3. He is 6'6" with very solid defensive skills and can be the occassional offensive threat. He was the first-round selection (25th) in 2003 and played on the Argentina Gold Medal team at the 2004 Olympics. He can potentially become the starting 3 on our team. I think this is a good move because we can fill the need for a slasher and a rebounding 3. I have included his press conference interview on RapsTV below.

Black Sheep

Haha, I just watched a trailer of this New Zealand movie coming out soon and I must admit that it is pretty damn funny. I actually plan on watching this and getting a good kick out of it.

Here is a quick summary for the movie:
There are 40 million sheep in New Zealand and only 4 million inhabitants. After a genetic experiment goes wrong, New Zealand's sheep start turning nasty, and it's the humans who begin bleating.

So, basically, a sheep zombies movie. Haha. I love it already.

Here is the trailer and movie poster for it:

Building Your Business Wardrobe

I've been looking for the perfect suit and needed some help on deciding what type of suit I should go for. I already have a solid navy and a navy pinstripe. I think it's time to go for a solid black, two-buttons.

Anyways, on GQ, they just put up this very helpful guide on building your perfect business wardrobe. It goes through with the basics of suits and go the rest of the way from head to toes. Guys, it's definintely worth going through it to pick up some tips on how to dressing for success.

Rihanna & Chris Brown - Umbrella (Cinderella Remix)

Rihanna's "Umberlla" is probably the biggest summer hit receiving the most airplay everywhere so far. There are numerous remixes for it already. This is the latest one that I particularly enjoy. It has Chris Brown going, "I'm looking for the one with the glass slippers, you can be my Cinderella ella ella eh eh eh...".

Fabolous - From Nothin' To Somethin'

Been pretty busy this week to upload anything. This has been leaked for awhile now, but here it is...Fabolous' latest album, "From Nothin' To Somethin". So far, all the songs that have been out are pretty good. I had an earlier post with a few of the videos. This album is FILLED with collabo ranging from Ne-Yo to Lloyd to Jay-Z to Young Jeezy to T-Pain to Akon and so on. "Make Me Better" with Ne-Yo is still probably my favourite song from this album. "First Time" with Rihanna is a pretty close second. Other songs to listen for are "Baby Don't Go" with T-Pain produced by JD and Lloyd's "Real Playa Like".

Megan Fox, Hottie in Disguise?

Yep, that's right. It's time for another injection of testosterone on this blog.

The super duper hottie in Michael Bay's Transformers is the little known Megan Fox. But with dark hair, blue eyes and a stunning, Grade A body, she is bound to explode onto the Hollywood scene. Dark hair and blue eyes are such a deadly combo. Just look at Olivia Wilde after she dyed her hair dark in my older post...Anyways, let's not get too distracted and get back to Megan Fox. Her physical attributes no doubt make her stand out amongst the crowd, but I think her deadliest assets are her poses and her deep looks. Just looking at any photo shoots or screen caps of her in the movie, you can just stare into those deep blue eyes and get lost in them. I think all those other young Hollywood hottie/sex symbols such as Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johanson better watch out for the up and coming Megan Fox. Moreover, I have realized that there are greater powers in the world of Hollywood at work. Ever since, Angelina became Momgeline, I don't think any one has been able to step it up to the same level as she used to be. Now, without too long of a hiatus, we have a very promising Megan Fox showing up to the scene. I predict that in a few more years, Megan Fox has the potential to claim that level of hotness as Angelina.

So, no woman can be 100% perfect and Megan Fox is bound to have some flaws. This is where you find out that she is engaged to the 32-years old washed-up tv star, Brian Austin Green. You may remember him from Beverly Hills, 90210 as David Silver. This is also the part where I just shake my head and wonder where is the justice in this world. Then again, this is Hollywood and most relationships don't last for too long. Let's all hope that the end is sooner rather than later.

Now, let's try to go away from Megan Fox a bit and talk about the actual movie, Transformers.

It is going to be HUGEEEE this summer. This will be one of the few big budget movies out this summer that is NOT a sequel (I expect there WILL be sequels in the future tho). Instead of a fully animated movie, this is a CGI movie with real actors (thank god for this, or else we wouldn't have Megan Fox) and that's what it makes it so unbelievably uber-awesome. There will be huge action sequences when the robots are going at each other...(I mean, giant robots beating the shit outta one another is cool and all, but I know for a fact that my attention will still be focused on Megan for most of the movie). Also, with all the machinery around in the movie, you know that some of them will tend to rust a bit and...uh, y'know, they might need some lube to um...get them kinda greased up and uh....ready to go again. Hmm...I wonder who will be the perfect character to apply it on those robots...(Okay, okay, I said I will *try* to go away from talking about Megan Fox. I never promised anything). I foresee this movie to be the biggest blockbuster this summer. Honestly, because so far this summer, all the blockbusters have been pretty disappointing. July 4th better come soon.

I have attached some links and numerous pictures of Megan Fox from various sources for your viewing pleasures. Ya, this summer ain't cooling down any time soon. Enjoy!

Kanye West - Stronger

Kanye West's newest single is "Stronger", which samples from the Daft Funk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger", will most likely be released during the middle of summer. This will be track 2 on the "Graduation" ablum. The song is very catchy and very appropriate for a summer hit song.
*Updated: I just added another song from "Graduation" called "Bittersweet" featuring John Mayer. Now I'm excited for this album.

Joss Stone is Love

Joss Stone's concert on Saturday was sooooo gooooooooood. She is so funny on stage and I enjoyed her whole performance. Even though, I had to wait for three hrs from the start of the concert for her to perform for an hour and twenty minutes. It was well worth it. I'm even considering skipping work early tomorrow and drive all the way to Montreal to catch her other performance there...but that would be a bit too crazy.

She performed a lot of the song from her new album and selected few from her previous one, which includes "Right To Be Wrong" and one of my favourite "Jet Lag". She came out stunning me right from the start with her straighten hair and a very beautiful blue top that contrasted her red hair perfectly. I wish I was able to take better photos and videos of her performance, but KoolHaus security did not allow for cameras *shakes fist in air*. I have included the very few photos that I was able to catch during the encore performance at the bottom of this entry.

There were a couple of my favourite moments during the concert. These were especially good because she has a great stage presence and she is funny. Obviously, the moment she came out was stunning as I've already mentioned. Since the crowd was not a sold-out and was a bit antsy from the three hours wait, Joss questioned, "Hello, how are you feeling? Really, that's it?". Then, she performed "Super Duper Love" to start the crowd going. Sensing that the crowd still wasn't in it, Joss jokingly said, "Really? There's only one of me and I'm making a fuck of a lot of noise." To which, the crowd and myself greatly reacted to. Moreover, her next song she performed was probably my favourite song of the moment "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do". This started to really get the crowd going. Another favourite moment of mine was when Joss was preparing to perform "Bad Habit". She was braiding her hair while telling the story of the song, which is about her breakup with her ex. She even joked around about cutting her hair at that moment, in an effort to get rid of her "bad habit". This created a breath-holding moment for me, as that would've blown me away if she did it. Other favourite moments were the minor details in how she performes barefeet and enjoys sipping on tea during her performance.

Overall, her 10-piece band did an amazing job supporting her strong vocals while backing her at times when she needed a little help. The keyboard player definitely did an amazing job, especially on the beginning of "Jet Lag". Also, her producer/bass guitarist Raphael Saadiq is, without a dobut, a great supporting cast to Joss. I really think that he did the world a huge favour by bringing out this musical side of Joss for the world to enjoy.

Man, I really wish I could go catch her performance again tomorrow, but I guess I'll have to wait the next time she is on tour again and comes back to Toronto. I will definitely catch her live again.

*Updated: I added her second album, "Mind, Body & Soul" after the pictures below.

Joss Stone - Mind, Body & Soul

2. You Had Me
3. Spoiled
4. Don't Cha Wanna Ride

10. Don't Know How
