Jade Raymond is Perfect

Jade Raymond is the perfect girl. Okay, I don't know if she is perfect, but she is pretty darn close to it. Who is Jade Raymond? Well, she is a computer science graduate from McGill University. She became a game developer at Sony and moved on to EA to be a game producer for The Sims Online. She has also been a co-host on The Electric Playground on the ever popular G4. With her many successes in the past, she has now moved on to Ubisoft Montreal, the company that brought my favourite action franchise video game, The Prince of Persia series. She is the producer of their latest endeavour Assassin's Creed, which I expect to be one of the best game in 07/08.

Not only is she smart AND a video game producer for my highly anticipated title, it also helps that she is absolutely beautiful. She has the girl-next-door appeal becaues of her friendly personality and, AND she is mixed. She isn't 50-50 mixed, but 25% Chinese, 25% Australian and 50% Canadian. That's it. That's all I need to say. A mixed girl who loves to play/make video game. How much more perfect can she get?

Another ballad, this one from P.C.D.'s Nicole Scherzinger. Another very sexy video for a ballad, but the song is only alright when you are competing against the other two videos premiering today. However, none of this has anything to do with the fact that Nicole has a very nice beach body. I'm glad that she get rid of the P.C.D. punk/hip-hop style and went for a more classic feel. I think the P.C.D. style was too messy and trashy. I hope that this single doesn't flop like how "Whatever U Like" did. I still think that single flopped because it was WAY too similar to "Ring the Alarm". Enjoy!

Rihanna looks soooo good in this video. I literally drool without realizing it. The video is typical. The plot is kinda boring. More and more of these music videos are getting typical/low budget. Maybe that's why MTV stopped playing music videos, Justin Timberlake. Maybe that's why they have shows like The Hills on instead.

Propelled by the big hit slow jam "Bed" with its many, many remixes, J. Holiday's album "Back of My Lac" is gaining huge promotional boost. The album is due out Oct 2. An interesting thing to note is that "Bed" was produced by The-Dream. That's right, the producer/singer from that "Shawty is a Ten post, who also produced Rihanna's "Umbrella". Anyways, I missed the post for the video of "Bed", so I will include it here. I've also included the Mega Remix of "Bed" that combines all the remixes into one Mega Remix. This song is pretty chill and typical of a Ja Rule song. I think Murder Inc. will be back this fall as Ashanti will also be releasing an album soon. I will post her single later.

Multiple times, Milo leans in and whispers into Hayden's ear while she brushes her hand against his cheek. Fine, don't believe me, judge for yourself.

Now, judge to see if there is anything more than "just tv castmates and friends". If you think not, then the greater powers at NBC are doing an amazing job with their promotion strategy.

The latest Jagged Edge album has leaked. As usual, this has Jermaine Dupri as the producer making it sound like all the other JE songs. They need to do something different, even though what they are doing now are still okay. The album is alright, nothing special. Justin Timberlake and Kanye West Perform Stronger Together

Holy crap! Kanye made a surprise performance at JT's LA performance and together they performed "Stronger". The crowd went NUTS! I would imagine the intensity at the concert. Damn! Kanye really knows how to promote his album, he is everywhere! The freestyle at the end of the song was also awesome. I enjoyed the MTV bashing part.

Cupid - Time For A Change

Cupid is a pretty unknown, but he has been performing for quite a while. His latest hit is "Cupid Shuffle", but hasn't that much exposure here in Canada. I still like his music from the few songs I've listened to. "Cupid Shuffle" is an obvious hit, I like the remix with DJ Unk and Fabo. Other recommended tracks are "The Let Out", "Do Yo Dance", "Say Yes" and a very early 90s slow-jam "Someone Like You". Enjoy!

This song is the hit song of the moment because it is being played everywhere, so you might have heard it before already. Here is the Travis Barker (the drummer of Blink 182) remix for the song and a video of him recording it. He is totally BANGIN' it out (both figuratively and literally). I love drumming, I wish I learned it when I was younger. It seems like such a great outlet for stress and anger.

Scientist Discovers How To Burn Saltwater

Salt water is one of the most abundent resource on planet Earth and some scientist has discovered a way of burning it, potentially as a fuel. By exposing salt water to radio frequencies, it separates the bonds between the hydorgens and the oxygen. This allows it to burn. This is exciting news as this could potentially solve fuel issues. I think there are still a lot of tests to be conducted, but this could be amazing.

Tragic Britney Spears VMA Performance

I cannot think of another word to describe her much-hyped performance for the MTV VMA other than...TRAGIC. Let's see, what are some definitions of the word tragic.

1. extremely mournful, melancholy, or pathetic
2. dreadful, calamitous, disastrous, or fatal
3. extremely distressing, sad or pitiful

Yea, I think that pretty much cover what the performance was like. She lip-sync the song and was very distant in her whole performance. Moreover, she did not add any kick to the performance that warrant her getting opening act rights. I think Kanye should've started off the show because it is obvious that he can hype up a crowd. However, his performance with T-Pain for my FAVOURITE song of his album (which is currently my ringtone), "Good Life", was banging. Rocking it out on a balcony suite overlooking Vegas is pretty cool.

Actually, Kanye bashed Britney about her getting to open for the show before it all happened in front of our eyes. "I can't believe she would perform," he told the Associated Press. "She hasn't had a hit record in years. Maybe my money's not right. Maybe my skin's not right." Oh Kanye, always causing a stir in the media. That's why you are so badass.

Here are some more of my commentaries about the rest of the night:

• I'm sadden by the fact that even though Alicia Keys did a beautiful performance, you can hear from her voice that she is not as strong vocally as she used to be. I hope she will be okay and I will still go out to see her performance when she comes to TO.
• Megan Fox sighting is always a plus. Too much make-up though.
• I am normally not a Jennifer Garner fan, as most of my friends know, but damn, she was looking good presenting awards with Jamie Foxx tonight. The white dress she wore compliments her well. Also, when Jamie started beep boxing to get her to shake her thing and she gave it a shot, while with a confusing look on her face said, "What's happening?" AWKWARD. That was hilarious.
• LP has a rocking performance with "Bleed It Out", but what was with Chester's tight army jeans.
• Chris Brown can dance. Justin Timberlake set himself up nicely after that though. JT complimented on how he feels he is getting old after watching CB's performance, but then when it was his turn to perform, he held it down with his own dance moves.
• JT and Rihanna are the major winners, no surprise there.

Nike Commerical - Bargs' Teaching to Belinelli

Bargs has a pretty funny personality, even though he seems pretty serious most of the time. In this Italian Nike Commerical, he gives Marco Belinelli some lessons about the NBA.

I wanted to post this song last week, but I found out that the video is being released today. I decided to wait for it. I have high expectation for this video because the song is very good with lots of potential. It's also very catchy and has a very T-Pain feel to it. However, the video is a disappointment as they opt for a low budget production. Even though the special effects were pretty good, there wasn't anything special about it. I would much rather it be a storytelling style of music video. Anyways, here is the video. Enjoy!

The chorus is so addictive and hooks you right into the song. This song is high on my rotation right now. "Trey Day" has some pretty good songs, I'm looking forward to it.

Summer Winding Down

Aww, it feels like summer is over so soon. With Labour Day Weekend ending this week, it's time to get back to the routine of Fall/Winter. I can already feel the school blues coming.
